The business began when founder Justin West found himself facing the uncertainty of a corporate job on the brink of closure. Instead of waiting for the door to shut, Justin made a bold decision: to take control of his life, create stability for his family, and carve out a future on his own terms.
With nothing but a borrowed pressure washer, a vision, and a relentless work ethic, Justin began working on his days off — late nights, early mornings, and every spare moment — to bring Go West to life. What started as a small spark of opportunity quickly grew as customers recognised his dedication and quality of work.
Before long, customers weren’t just asking for window cleaning — they were requesting roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, fascia and soffit cleaning, conservatory cleaning, soft-washing, pressure washing, and more. What began as a simple window-cleaning service rapidly evolved into a full exterior-cleaning business, built directly around the needs of the community.
Then came a moment that defined everything. A neighbour, seeing Justin’s ambition, offered him his van with the words:
“Take the van and pay me back once you’ve made enough money.”
It was a simple gesture — but it became the launching pad that transformed an idea into a real, expanding business.
Spotting a clear gap in the local market, Justin began scaling the company step by step, reducing his corporate hours, building a customer base, and refining his services. Eventually, the choice became clear: go all in, or miss the opportunity entirely. Justin chose to bet on himself.
Armed with years of corporate sales experience, he pushed Go West forward with strategy, professionalism, and an unwavering customer-first mindset. What began as a “let’s see what happens” side project has grown into a thriving local business — respected, trusted, and continually expanding.

Our staff bring decades of combined exterior-cleaning expertise, and we hand-select individuals who share our passion for quality, consistency, and pride in their craft. We don’t simply fill positions — we build a team of trained specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional results every time.
To maintain the highest standards, all our team members receive comprehensive Health & Safety training, including:
Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) for every job
Safe systems of work for both routine and complex cleaning tasks
Proper handling of chemicals and eco-friendly products
Safe working practices around homes, commercial buildings, and public areas
For projects that require access at height, our staff are fully trained and certified in operating MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) such as scissor lifts and boom lifts, ensuring both safety and legal compliance at all times.
In addition, our team holds PASMA Training, qualifying them to safely assemble, dismantle, and work from mobile access towers — giving us the capability to tackle more challenging or elevated cleaning tasks with complete confidence and professionalism.
Our crews are also closely supported and monitored by our dedicated office team, ensuring every job meets our rigorous standards. We continually review performance, communication, and customer feedback to guarantee consistency across every visit.
