We’ve invested in cutting-edge reverse osmosis and de-ionisation systems, producing pure water by removing all minerals and impurities. This pure water allows us to clean not only your windows but also the frames, sills, and doors, ensuring a cobweb-free and streak-free finish every time. After cleaning, we rinse the windows and leave them to dry naturally, providing the best results with no residue or chemicals.

Using the water-fed pole system provides numerous benefits for your property:

    • Clean windows at height without ladders, ensuring both your privacy and property are respected
    • Reach awkward windows, such as those above conservatories or garages
    • Effectively clean UPVC frames and sills, delivering a comprehensive clean every time
    • No chemicals or soaps used—just pure, eco-friendly water

Traditional window cleaning refers to the classic, hands-on method of cleaning windows that many homeowners and businesses still prefer today. This technique involves a combination of squeegees, scrapers, and cloths to manually clean both the interior and exterior of windows, leaving them streak-free and sparkling.

Key Equipment Used in Traditional Window Cleaning:

    • Squeegee
The most iconic tool in traditional window cleaning, the squeegee is used to remove water and cleaning solution from the window’s surface using a rubber blade that ensures a streak-free finish as it’s pulled down the glass.
    • Window Cleaning Solution
A specially formulated liquid cleaner is applied to the windows before using the squeegee.
    • Extension Poles
For out-of-reach windows, especially on higher floors, extension poles are used to attach the squeegee and cleaning cloth. This allows the window cleaner to access windows at height hopefully without the need for ladders
    • Scrapers
A window scraper is used to remove tougher debris, like bird droppings, paint splatters, or tree sap. The scraper has a razor blade that gently scrapes away these stubborn residues without scratching the glass. It’s an essential tool for dealing with sticky or hard-to-remove dirt.
    • Microfiber Cloths or Towels
After using the squeegee, microfiber cloths or towels are used to wipe down the edges of the windows to prevent water spots. Microfiber is ideal because it’s highly absorbent, doesn’t leave lint, and helps buff the glass to a polished shine. It’s also commonly used for detailing around the frames and sills.
    • Buckets
A large, sturdy bucket is used to hold the window cleaning solution and water.
    • Ladders
For windows that are at a higher level we often use ladders for access. While ladder usage requires safety precautions, it’s still a common tool for cleaning windows on the ground floor or upper stories of homes and buildings upon our visit to you we can walk through what is possible and what windows may be more challenging.
    • Safety Equipment
For cleaning windows at height, safety harnesses, ropes, and ladder stabilizers are sometimes used to ensure the cleaner’s safety. This is particularly important when working on tall buildings or in areas where the risk of falling is a concern. The team will following their RAMS and Method statements.
